At the end of 2024, I entered the world of Fantasy Fiction thanks to Iron Flame. The world of dragons, fighting, magic, and love ā so what’s not to love?
It was timely to have picked up reading again as I was going through a break-up, and my friends and I’ve stopped partying. Books became my companion and even a source of healing.
My mind was entering a different world. A better escape than drinking, like I did in the past. Because it’s not a full on escape. As I’m engaged with the pages, I’ll still correlate it with me/my life.
My favorite part of reading these novels is because of the mindset of these beautiful warrior ladies, the quiet lover boy who’s hopelessly in love with her, and the way they love each other.

- Didn’t continue Iron Flame, Powerless, Throne of Glass series
- ACOTAR was my absolute favorite
- I just finished Lightlark and will probably purchase Nightbane
